Jersey Arts Centre
The Jersey Arts Centre exists to foster the development and celebration of the arts island-wide and beyond. This is achieved by providing exciting, innovative, wide ranging, challenging, professional and community arts in welcoming, high quality and accessible environments.
The Jersey Arts Centre has two performing arts venues. Benjamin Meaker Theatre at Phillips Street is a 250-seat auditorium within the Jersey Arts Centre's main building. St. James, St. James Street, is an acoustically atmospheric converted church with an adaptable seating arrangement for up to 300 people. There is also the Berni Gallery and Bar Gallery at Phillips Street that are highly acclaimed gallery spaces with free public access. Theses venues can all be hired out as well as conference and workshop rooms.
The Jersey Arts Centre programmes a variety of performances (whether dance, comedy, drama, music, film), exhibitions, courses and workshops and outdoor alfresco events. It also has its own theatre groups: Jersey Arts Centre youtheatre for 14-19 years and ArtsCentreTheatre (ACT) for 18 years +. In general, the Jersey Arts Centre offers a variety of arts and entertainment to local residents and visitors to the Island.

Box Office hours Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm and 45 minuets before a Sunday performance.

The Jersey Arts Centre is located just two minutes walk away from the main shopping area. The nearest car parks are: La Motte Street, Minden Place, Green Street. Paycards are required before 5pm.
