Trial by Jury - Show InformationA very witty one act opera covering litigation, love, deceit and desire.The scene is the Court of the Exchequer and the plot consists of a breach of promise case. Angelina takes an action against Edwin, but he still refuse to marry her. The judge, however, having first taken to one of the bridesmaids, takes a fancy to Angelina and eventually offers to marry her himself.
