Pinocchio

Can a puppet ever grow up to be a real boy? From Venice to the belly of the whale, by way of the Field of Wonders and the Land of Toys, Pinocchio's mischief constantly propels him into evermore treacherous adventures. From the moment old man Geppetto carves his little puppet, trouble abounds - Pinocchio wants to be a real boy! Pinocchio's journey takes him from circus to school, from the strange world of Freetown to the ocean and back home again. Pursued by a devious fox and his sidekick, he must learn what it is to have the heart and soul of a human. Beset by dangers and pitfalls, Pinocchio makes his way through a surreal world of naughty children, magical princesses and crickets with a conscience. Oh - and of course his nose grows, and grows and grows!
