AladdinThe Pantomime story of Aladdin and the magic lamp. Widow Twankey, her no-good son Wishee Washee and the Chinese laundry usually provide the slapstick. A magic carpet ride of a panto, as Aladdin, a poor boy from the mystical East (and no, we don't mean Barking), battles with the evil Abanazar to thwart his plot to rule the world. Will the help of the Genie of the Lamp's mighty fine powers and some wise words of advice from his mum, Ma Twanky (plus some well-meaning interference from a whole host of friends), be enough for Aladdin to overcome this wicked if somewhat deranged foe and win the heart of the beautiful Princess? The magic of Aladdin is conjured up by the same creative team that brought us Cinderella two years ago - the only panto ever to have been nominated for an Olivier Award! Aladdin is another in the great Theatre Royal tradition of original pantos full of glorious good-guys, boo-able baddies, great new songs to sing along to and, most important of all, London's loudest and liveliest audience!
