Tap & Chat with Lionel Blair is a 'behind the scenes" glimpse into the colourful world of the cult TV personality and tap dancer extraordinaire. Performing songs including Me & My Shadow, They Can't Take That Away From Me and Heaven, Lionel shares anecdotes from his celebrated stage and screen career where he performed alongside legends including The Beatles, Sammy Davis Jr, Ella Fitgerald, Liza Minnelli and many others. Lionel Blair has worked in every genre of entertainment. Initially a dancer and choreographer, Lionel's career diversified and he became a household name as one of the team captains on Give Us A Clue and as presenter of the game show Name That Tune. His recent theatre credits include The Rocky Horror Show (Ambassador Theatre), the Child Catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (London Palladium) and as the host of Simply Ballroom (national tour). In addition being a presenter, Lionel's TV work includes Crossroads and Footballers Wives plus appearances on the reality TV shows The Farm and Alan Carr's End of Pier Show, and Extras with Ricky Gervais. Lionel has produced three dance videos: Line Dancing with Lionel, Lionel Dancing and Music Hall Days. He also released Blair Sings Astaire - a CD of songs made famous by his idol Fred Astaire. His autobiography Star Struck was published in 1985.
