Way to Blue - The Songs of Nick Drake

One of the most influential singersongwriters of our age, Nick Drake found little mainstream success during his lifetime; however, since his untimely death at the age of 26, his fragile, autumnal music has touched the hearts of millions. This very special evening, curated by Nick's producer Joe Boyd, features Danny Thompson - the legendary bassist who played on many of Drake's recordings - anchoring a stellar house band along with a sublime line-up of special guest artists to be announced. Drake's original arranger Robert Kirby also conducts a sevenpiece string section performing his own classic orchestrations. Together they celebrate Nick's music through their own interpretations of his timeless songs. Butterworth Hall
