Stomp

Originally created in Brighton in 1991, STOMP is a unique combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy. Since its inception, the production has toured to 39 diverse countries from Russia to Brazil, Australia to Japan and Germany to Taiwan and has become an international stage phenomenon. STOMP finds beauty and music in the mundane - from boots and bins to zippo lighters and plumber s plungers - everything including the kitchen sink becomes part of this amazing production as a cast of 8 inspired performers make instruments out of brooms and turn hand-clapping into conversation. With unstoppable energy and toe-tapping exuberance, STOMP takes the clutter and junk of everyday life and transforms it into a pulsating, witty, utterly irresistible theatrical event.
