PartenopeThis stylish production, about mistaken identity, brings Handel's glorious music together with a story about love, infidelity and power. Queen Partenope has nearly finished building her utopian city. Her beauty has attracted a selection of suitors, amongst whom a certain Arsace is the favourite. Eurimenes turns up, keen to impress the queen. Coincidentally, he bears a striking resemblance to Arsace's abandoned lover. War is waged, love triangles unravelled and true identities revealed. New Production.
