About Prince Edward Theatre

Quite a varied history belongs to Prince Edward Theatre. Built in 1930 as a theatre, it has also served as a casino, a cabaret restaurant and as the Queensbury All-Services Club during the war. From 1946 to 1954, it was a theatre again until cinema opened here 1954 to 1978. Then, it returned to its original name and began live performances again.

Evita, Chess, Crazy For You, and Mama Mia are among the later productions.

The theatre can serve as many as 1645 patrons on three levels.
