As a resident in Llanelli I have become very aware of the amount of items that end up in landfill, dumped at the local civic amenity site. Llanelli also has a large problem with fly tipping. With these concerns in mind it prompted me to take action. I became involved in a national free comunity called Don'tDumpThat - it makes people aware that even if you have finished with an item that might be perfectly usable, there might be someone willing to take it off your hands for free and make good use of it. This is great for both the person getting rid of an item and also the person who receives the item. Better still its excellent for the environment, helping keep unecessary items from entering the landfill system.
