Directions from A1 NorthSouth At J62 take the A690 signposted Durham At the first roundabout follow the road straight on down the hill towards a second roundabout. Turn LEFT Go straight on through the first set of traffic lights At the next set of lights take the RIGHT FORK Follow this road to the next set of traffic lights TURN RIGHT Go straight over a roundabout Take the next right turning down a slip road dont worry if you miss it take the next right turning This road leads onto South Street and you will now be running parallel with the river The Cathedral will be visible on your right hand side The road will start to narrow and when you see railings on your right you are there Grafton House is a large grey building on your left Pull up outside to off load luggage and see below for parking options. ParkingLimited parking is available on South Street as it is within a Conservation Area . There is metered parking and we will happily locate a space and valet park your vehicle. We also have some garage parking approx 100 metres from the Hotel and we have off site parking for guests who will not need a car for the duration of their stay. South Street is a one way street and without directions, it is not that easy to find, but it will be worth it! We are here to help, so if in doubt, please contact us.
