By Road (from East or West) - Leave the M4 motorway at junction 12 (Theale) and take the A4 towards Reading. After approximately 2 miles, you will see Prospect Park on the left and a Honda Garage on the right. Turn left at the traffic lights into Liebenrood Road. Prospect Park is still on your left. Turn left again at the roundabout at the end of Liebenrood Road (Prospect Park is still on your left), and take the first right at a mini roundabout into Water Road. At the end of Water Road, bear right at the mini roundabout into Grovelands Road. The Old Forge is on the right on the brow of the hill. By Road (from North to South) - Leave Reading Town Centre via Oxford Road (A329). After approximately 1.25 miles, turn left at traffic lights into Grovelands Road (opposite the Pond House pub). The Old Forge is on the left on the brow of the hill.
