Royal Fleet Club, TheMap & DirectionsMap Loading By Road From the east, you will come from Exeter along the a38 Devon Expressway. Coming down the hill into Plymouth you will reach Marsh Mills roundabout with a major flyover above it. Go straight over the flyover on the a38 Parkway. Ignore the next roundabout (Forder Valley) and after about a mile turn left at a roundabout onto the a386, signposted for City Centre and Torpoint. This puts you on Outlands Road. From the west, you will come from Cornwall along the a38. Cross the Tamar bridge - toll 1 - and continue along the a38 Parkway. The second junction you meet will be signposted Devonport and City Centre. Ignore it. The third junction will be signposted as the a386, for Tavistock, City Centre and Torpoint. Take this exit and turn right for City Centre and Torpoint. This puts you on Outlands Road. Travel down Outlands Road past Central Park and the football ground on the left, crossing over several sets of traffic lights. Ignore the City Centre exit and go straight on, following signs for Torpoint. Cross Alma Road, a major junction with multiple traffic lights, and you will be on Milehouse Road. This takes you up the hill into Stoke village, a small group of shops with the road turning half left, sharp right and then sharp left. Go through the pedestrian lights and turn right at the mini-roundabout into Albert Road, which is signposted for Torpoint. As you drop down the hill of Albert Road turn left into Park Avenue and proceed up the hill. Take the second right into St. Aubyn's Road and the Royal Fleet club is straight ahead of you. By Rail For passengers, Plymouth is served by frequent Great Western trains from London Paddington. Virgin Trains operate services from the Midlands and North, including a direct cross- country service from Aberdeen. By taxi, the Royal Fleet Club is about 10 minutes (about 5) from Plymouth railway station and about 3 minutes from Devonport Railway Station. By Air Air South West operate budget flights to Plymouth from London, Bristol, Manchester and Jersey. Air Wales operate flights to Plymouth from Newcastle, Cardiff, London, Dublin and Cork. The airport is about 15 minutes from the hotel, by taxi (GBP 8 fare).
