The Rossborough Hotel is a landmark in Dunbar. In August 1898 Dr. James Black sold a plot of land to build a hotel at the end of Newhouse Terrace. The project was finished in 1902. There are many of the original Edwardian features intact, stained glass windows, oak staircase and Art Noveau fireplaces. The decor is sympatric to the period of the hotel and is designed to give an ambiance of subdued elegance while offering modern facilities. Rooms are on three levels and consist of single, twin, double or triple. All 19 en-suite bedrooms are dressed with crisp white linen and fluffy towels. A hospitality tray, colour television with Sky channels, direct dial telephone, hairdryer add to guest comforts.
