Mclays Guest HouseMap & DirectionsMap Loading The guesthouse is located in the city centre about half a mile from the main train stations (Central Station & Queen Street Station) and we are the same distance from the bus station, which is Buchanan Bus Station. You can walk from them all to the guesthouse in about 15-20 minutes. If you have heavy baggage its recommended to take a taxi, as the walk is uphill! Driving directions from Glasgow Airport : - Follow signs for m8 Glasgow. Once on the m8 as you approach the city you will pass over the River Clyde. Exit at the junction marked City Centre. Once you have come off here turn left at the first set of traffic lights, drive to the top of the hill and turn left again, into West George Street. Drive to the end of this street and turn right into Holland Street then take your first left into Bath Street then take your first right into Elmbank Street, now you will have to take a right into Sauchiehall Street immediately take your first left, a very steep hill called Garnet Street, then take your 3rd left which is Buccleuch Street and follow this to its very end and this will lead into and become Renfrew Street and we are on your left hand side number 268. Travel Directions Coming from the South : - Coming up the m6 this then becomes the m74a74 and leads onto the m8. Follow signs for m8 City Centre. Exit at Junction 18 (Marked Charing Cross). Please note that you will exit on the right hand side not the left as is usually the case. Once you have come off here keep to the extreme left hand side lane and this leads into and becomes Sauchiehall Street. Now take your very first left which is Garnet Street (a very steep hill) go to the bottom of the hill and turn left (this is Buccleuch Street). Buccleuch Street leads into and becomes Renfrew Street. |
