Exhibits include ancient art and sculpture, furniture and rugs as well as masterpieces by painters including Picasso, Monet and Constable. The fitzwilliam Museum has recently undergone a £12 million courtyard development, creating a new public space spread over four floors and featuring temporary exhibitions, medieval and renaissance art and 20th and 21st century art.
