Clifton, The

	This family-run guest house is situated on Morecambe's west promenade, overlooking the splendid West End Gardens and Morecambe Bay, with the mountains of the Lake District on the horizon. The Clifton is not far from the stunning natural beauty of the Lake District. Many of the region's big cities are also within easy reach and free private parking is available for guests' use. There is a lift service to most floors and the guest house has a ramp to the entrance for wheelchair users. All of the 45 en suite rooms are centrally heated and have TVs and tea/coffee-making facilities. A generous and tasty full cooked English breakfast is included in the price. The Clifton is family-run by your hosts, Paul and Lydia Kim, who take great pride in the guest house's warm, friendly atmosphere and wholesome, traditional food.The Clifton offers en suite bed and breakfast accommodation throughout the year and evening meals are available on request. The guest house has a lounge with a large-screen TV and views of the magnificent scenery of Morecambe Bay, across to the mountains of the Lake District on the horizon. There is also a games room with a selection of arcade games, a pool table and a table tennis table. The games room has access to the sun patio, just in front of the guest house's licensed bar. The Clifton has a large entertainment room with sofas and tables, where you can sit and relax. The entertainment room has a large dance floor and occasionally hosts parties, games and live entertainment.
