Old Ginn House Inn, The

	In the small village of Great Clifton, on the west coast of the Cumbrian Lake District, this charming inn was converted from a 17th-century farmstead and offers comfortable, characteristic accommodation. The Old Ginn House has a cosy lounge where you can relax with comfy sofas and chairs, television and a choice of books and magazines. For the warmer months, there is a patio in the courtyard. Meals are served in the Mediterranean-style dining areas, while the Ginn Room offers a well-stocked bar. The Old Ginn House provides an ideal base for business guests, or for those visiting the unspoilt Western Lake District and the Solway Coast.On request, the restaurant can be used for meetings.

	Meals are served in the Mediterranean-style dining areas, serving traditional home-cooked meals alongside more cosmopolitan choices. Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 07:00 until 09:30 (08:00 until 10:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays). Lunch is served from 12:00 until 14:00. Dinner is served from 18:00 until 21:30. The main feature bar, the Ginn Room, was part of the original farm where horses would have walked around turning the grindstone to crush the crops - known as 'ginning'. Today, this room offers a comfortable seating area and a bar with a varied choice of beers, wines, spirits, liqueurs and soft drinks.
