|  | Paignton benefits from frequent rail and coach serves and has good links to the M5 and beyond. Plymouth has a continental ferry port and there are airports at Exeter and Plymouth. By Road: Take the M5 to Exeter and then follow the A380 to Newton Abbot and then onto Torquay. At the end of the A380 at Newton Abbot follow the main road into Torquay. At the Hamlyn Way roundabout do not turn right for Paignton but follow the road on into Torquay. From this roundabout pass through 5 sets of traffic lights, turn right at the next set of lights with Halfords and Torre railway station on your right. Follow this road (Avenue Road) to the Sea Front at this set of lights turn right for Paignton. Travel along the Sea Front road keeping left at all times. After about 2 miles you will find yourself driving along Preston Beach Front (lots of beach huts). You will find Marine Drive on your right and the Baildon Royd is located on the right of the cul-de-sac. By Rail: First Great Western and Virgin Trains operate to Paignton on a regular basis from across the country. The train station is approximately a ten minute car ride away from The Baildon Royd. By Coach: National Express Coaches travel to Paignton Town Centre on a regular basis from across the country. The coach station is approximately a ten minute car ride away from The Baildon Royd. |
