Chelsea House | Chelsea house is perched charmingly on the seafront in Falmouth. Due to its slightly elevated stature, it enjoys stunning panoramic views of the coast surrounding Falmouth. Situated in a quiet area, you are in for a visit of absolute tranquillity. This stately building is as elegant on the inside as it is from the outside. Georgian Interiors of polished wood and finely-crafted ornaments adorn the inside and our eight bedrooms are classically decorated and comfortably furnished. All rooms are en-suite and feature all modern comforts and some even include a private balcony and mini-fridge. Our wonderful gardens provide a wonderful setting for a wistful moment with a glass of wine in hand. Hosts Donna and Tony Garbett are eager to help you plan your Cornish visit. Our road is one of the best kept secrets in Falmouth and is only 100 yards to the beach and about 5 minutes to the train station and around 10 minutes to the town centre. |  | Finding usChelsea House is situated in a quiet road set just in from the seafront in falmouth. Our slightly elevated position means that most our rooms have wonderful sea views of falmouth bay and the coastline. There is no passing traffic and there is plentry of off road parking.BY CARtake the A39 from truro to falmouth. On arriving at falmouth stay on the A39, initially following the signs to town and town centre(south). Stay on this main road for about one and a half miles until you pass the princess pavillions on your right, emslie road is the next turning immediately on your right. You will find chelsea House at the bottom of the road just around the corner.BY TRAINTake the train to falmouth station (the dell). There is usually one or two taxis around to meet the trains. However it is alo possible to walk to the bandb from the station in about 5 minutes.On leaving the station turn right under the railway bridge and then immediately left into lansdowne road. About 100 yards up the hill is a walkway on the right which will take you up on to melville road. Cross straight over and go down De Pass road for about 50 yards. Turn right into Emslie Road and you will see Chelsea House on your right about 75 yards along.BY COACHThere are regular coach services to falmouth from many parts of the UK. you will need to take a short taxi ride to Chelsea House (about 5-10 minutes and costing (£2-£3). |
