Tall Storeys | Tall Storeys is a small boutique style hotel, given a Silver Award by Visit Britain. Just 5minutes from the seafront and restaurants, It is a listed building situated in the charming Old Town area of Scarborough and has stunning views of the harbour, South Bay and castle from the rear of the property. Wi-Fi Internet access is available. The bedrooms are all individually and elegantly decorated and have been recently refurbished. All have either a four poster bed or a half tester bed. Beds have comfortable mattresses,100% fine quality cotton sheets, down duvets and Provencal bedspreads to ensure a blissful nights sleep. All rooms are en-suite with fluffy towels and quality complimentary toiletries. Beverage making facilities with china cups and saucers, hair driers,radio alarm clock are all standard. An iron and ironing board can be supplied on request. Tall Storeys is family run and a warm and friendly welcome and excellent service are guaranteed. Breakfast is a feast , plenty of fruit options and the hot dishes are freshly cooked and use local ingredients wherever possible. We are fully licenced and drinks may be taken in the bar or the colourful conservatory or the large walled garden. Fresh flowers are evident in all the public areas. A permit will be supplied for free on street parking for the duration of your stay. |  | From the A64 follow signs to the seafront. After passing under large green Victorian iron bridge seafront is ahead, turn left along seafront as far as the harbour. Turn left at the Newcastle Packet pub opposite, narrow cobblestone road, follow road up and take the third turning on the left, this is Longwestgate. Tall Soreys isabout 20yards along on the left. Train station is about 10-15mins walk or short taxi journey, taxi's always waiting outside station. To walk, from station turn left and cross road at traffic lights, head down hill into main shopping street (Westborough). Carry on down hill until reach Queen Street on left, follow road till reach bright blue house turn into street opposite, this leads straight into Longwestgate. Five minutes along Longwestgate and Tall Storeys is on left near the end of the road. Please ring for directions if lost! |
