|  | By Car: - Leave the M6 at junction 36, signposted Barrow-in-Furness and head west along the A590 (still following signs for Barrow-in-Furness). - At Brettargh Holt roundabout, take the 1st exit (Barrow-in-Furness). - At Meathop roundabout, take the 2nd exit (Barrow-in-Furness/Newby Bridge). - Continue on the A590 through Low & High Newton. - At Newby Bridge roundabout, bear left (Barrow-in-Furness/Ulverston). - Continue through Newby Bridge, passing Newby Bridge hotel on your left and the Swan Hotel on your right. - Once at Greenodd, turn right onto the A5092 (Workington). - Continue on the A5092, which becomes the A595 upon entering Grizebeck. - Go through Foxfield amd over Duddon Bridge and after approximately 10 minutes you will enter Whicham Valley. - Take a left turn, signposted Dunningwell and entrance to Brockwood Hall is up this road.
