	From M6, exit at junction 36 heading west for Barrow in Furness. After 21 miles at Greenodd,turn right heading for Workington and Whitehaven on A595. After a further 18 miles at a T junction, turn left on A5093 to Millom. After a mile,at Kirksanton, turn right in front of the King William pub, Black Combe house is 100yards down the road facing the village green.
