|  | Follow M6 (North) to junction 36, then take the A591 to Windermere. Continue for 3 miles towards Ambleside, passing Troutbeck Bridge Services and Brockhole Visitors Centre. Just past the Langdale Chase Hotel, turn right into Holbeck Lane (signed Troutbeck and Townend). The hotel drive is half a mile up the lane, on the left hand side.FROM THE NORTHFollow M6 (South) to junction 40, Penrith. Take the A66 to Keswick, join the A591 passing Grasmere and Ambleside. Approximately 1 mile south of Ambleside, just after the Low Wood Hotel, turn left into Holbeck Lane. The Hotel drive is half a mile up the lane on the left hand side. |
