Carnarvon Arms | Recently refurbished to an exceptional standard the Carnarvon Arms offers a home from home retreat for business people, the local community and tourists alike. Additionally we offer comfortable but modern function rooms for private dining and business meetings. Located in a region much of which has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Beauty, Newbury Races, the Watermill Theatre, Wayfarers Walk and several golf courses are all close at hand. We even have our own castle at Highclere. Newbury itself, sitting astride the Kennet and Avon Canal, boasts a newly re-furbished shopping centre and a not so new open-air market, dating back to 1204. We have twenty three comfortable and stylish bedrooms. Each has either a double bed or twin beds with en-suite shower room (two rooms with bathrooms), as well as flat screen colour television, direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities.
