We are situated by Bassenthwaite Lake between Keswick and Cockermouth.Exit the M6 at junction 40 and take the A66 Westbound towards Keswick. By-pass Keswick on the A66 following the signs for Cockermouth. The road follows the western shore of Bassenthwaite Lake for about 5 miles. There is a short stretch of dual carriageway (this used to be the old road and has a number of bends). Approximately 250 yards after the end of the dual carriageway take the first right turn onto a minor road, signposted Dubwath & Castle Inn.After just 50 yards, turn right again onto the B5291, signposted for Castle Inn.The Ouse Bridge House is a further 50 yards on the left, set back from the road.
