Wentworth Hotel
 | Looking out to sea from a quiet, peaceful location on the beautiful, unspoilt Suffolk coast, this charming hotel has been managed by a member of the same family since 1920. With a fine tradition of hospitality stretching back more than 85 years, the Pritt family take great pride in the Wentworth Hotel's rich history and its long record of high standards. Nevertheless, the hotel has changed over time to meet the changing requirements of today's guests. All of the hotel's 35 en suite rooms are bright, cheerful and welcoming, with many rooms offering wonderful views of the sea. All rooms have a TV, radio and telephone. The restaurant has received 2 AA Rosettes for its outstanding food. The menu changes daily to reflect the finest, freshest produce available locally. In many ways, the Wentworth is everything a seaside hotel should be, a charming blend of the traditional and the contemporary. When you are not exploring the region's beautiful countryside or the wonderful beaches of Suffolk, you can relax in the hotel's 2 spacious and attractive lounges. There are comfortable chairs in which you can settle down with a good book or the day's newspaper. Alternatively, you could sit by the window with a coffee and watch the world go by as people stroll along the seafront. In the summer, you can relax with the sun on your face in one of the lounges' sunny spots and in winter, you can warm yourself by the roaring open fire. Outside, there are 2 sea-facing gardens in which you can sit and enjoy the sun and the sea views. Morning coffee, light lunches and cream teas are served in the gardens. Darfield House, which is opposite the main hotel, also has a delightful courtyard garden. | | | | |
