There is free private parking for guests' use and Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel. The impressive spa facilities include 8 spa treatment rooms, each of which is a peaceful and relaxing little place of sanctuary from the hectic world outside. The purpose-built meeting rooms are ideal for training events and conferences. Rooms and facilities suitable for disabled guests, wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility are available.
The hotel has teamed up with Safehands, Britain's leading National childcare organisation, in order to offer you professional babysitting services whilst away from home. The hotel's own on-site restaurant offers fine dining and an extensive menu, which changes regularly to reflect the finest, freshest produce available locally. The impressive dishes available include locally sourced, freshly caught seafood, as well as locally grown ingredients and vegetables. During the warmer months, guests can dine al fresco. From the middle of May, the restaurant moves outside and you can enjoy the warm sunshine and fresh air while sampling dishes from the hors d'oeuvres table and specialities from the grill.
There is also the Parson's Collar, the hotel's very own Thwaites on-site country pub, as well as all-day dining in the lounge and bar.
Children's meals are available, but in order to preserve a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests the hotel asks that families with children aged less than 12 years dine in the restaurant prior to 20:00.
Children can either choose a meal from the children's Trekkers menu or they can order half portions from the à la carte menu and pay half price. We appreciate that children's appetites differ from day to day, so to make things as flexible as possible, your children can take one course from the Trekkers menu or the full 3 courses, with a drink included in both cases.
