 | The Bird in Hand was built in 1935, shortly after neighbouring Mildenhall Air Base opened. The Bird in Hand is a popular local community pub, offering rooms in the chalet block at the rear of the building.
The Bird in Hand Motel is still a popular place for those visiting the East Anglian countryside or the 2 local usaf Bases. All rooms have colour television and tea & coffee making facilities, as well as an en-suite shower and toilet. Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available - please be sure to state your preference when booking. We operate a pay-on-arrival policy.
