	Perfectly positioned on the Royal Mile, these luxurious serviced apartments have good views and are close to historic attractions and restaurants and a few minutes’ walk from Princes Street. Please note that you book in at 65 Cockburn Street, which is a 3-minute walk away, as due to the historic nature of the building it is not possible to have a reception at the building. Staff will be delighted to help you with your bags to your room. Please note that there is no lift in the historic building, there is the original turnpike stairwell. If you have reduced mobility or small children in prams, please request an apartment on the lower floor. Membership to The Escape Gym and Cowshed Spa, at The Scotsman hotel, is also included. It is a 5-minute walk away and has a stainless steel pool. Guests are also entitled to a fantastic 10% off all Cowshed treatments.

	On Foot From Waverley Train Station : - Take the Market Street exit and when you come out onto Market Street, turn right. - Cross the pedestrian crossing and you will see an entrance to Fleshmarket Close. - Go up the stairs, then at the top you will see on your left the Southern Cross Cafe with a blue awning. - You will check-in next to this, at 65 Cockburn Street. - Check-in and then a receptionist will assist you to Royal Mile Apartments, which are at the top of Cockburn Street. By Taxi From the airport: The airport is 8 miles (12.9 km) from the Royal Mile Residence. A taxi should take approximately 20 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. By Bus From the airport: Take the Airport Express bus. This departs approximately every 10 minutes during peak times. Stay on the bus until it terminates on Waverley Bridge in the centre of Edinburgh. When you get off the bus, turn left and head across the road and up Cockburn Street. Check-in is located at 65 Cockburn Street, next to the Southern Cross Café.
