In the summer months, the tranquillity of the walled gardens make for a relaxing haven where you can enjoy a refreshing drink on a warm evening. The hotel has a choice of three meeting rooms, each with its own character.
The Conservatory opens onto walled gardens and is an inspired conference venue for up to 40 delegates. The Hawthorne room, with its original open fireplace and ancient oak table, is an excellent venue for boardroom meetings.

The restaurant in the Bay Tree Hotel has gained one AA rosette for the quality of its British cuisine and service. The walls are hung with tapestries and limited edition 'Flint' watercolors. Flagstone floors reflect the timelessness of the ambience. There are stunning views onto the walled rose and herb garden, which can be accessed directly from the restaurant on the patio. In the summer aperitifs are served on the patio.
