Amber Lodge, The
 | Standing in its own grounds of four acres, the former Rectory is a charming family run country hotel. Traditional hospitality, personal service and individual touches will ensure that guests are relaxed and comfortable.
The Amber Lodge is under new management and we look forward to welcoming you. The Amber Lodge Hotel is located on the edge of the Broadlands Village of Acle, mid-way between the fine, historic city of Norwich and the tourist attractions of Great Yarmouth. The Amber Lodge Hotel is ideally suited for sightseeing. Just 10 miles from the fine city of Norwich, with its magnificent 12th Century cathedral, splendid castle and picturesque cobbled streets. Also nearby are several National Trust properties including Felbrigg Hall and Blickling, once the home of Ann Boleyn. Sandringham is a short drive away. Alternatively, you could blow away the cobwebs with a boat trip or fresh water fishing on the famous Norfolk Broads, follow a nature trail or explore the unspoilt Norfolk coastline. Please note that during the summer, the Amber Lodge regularly hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions on a Saturday and therefore the bar/restaurant may not be open. Staff can recommend a number of very good pub/restaurants close by. The Amber Lodge does offer Sunday lunches, but the restaurant is closed on Sunday nights. | | | | |
