Inn On The Hill, The

	Highest Inn in Cornwall - Wake up to the wide open spaces in the rugged charm of Bodmin Moor. Built in 1850 the property is in an ideal location for exploring Bodmin Moor and touring Cornwall. Bob & Jackie Penn welcome you to the Inn on the Hill their Hotel, Restaurant & Bar which is sited in two and a half acres of woodland on the rugged slopes of Caradon Hill. It is the Highest Inn in Cornwall set in this remote location on the eastern edge of Bodmin Moor. From here there are magnificent views towards both Dartmoor to the east and the Cornish coastlines to the south and west. The cosy bar with its log burner and non-smoking restaurant are popular with the locals. These are situated in the main house and offer the most spectacular views over Bodmin moor. We offer guests a welcoming haven with a varied menu and a well stocked bar with excellent wines and real ales set in a friendly and relaxing environment. Our rooms open directly into the wooded grounds and at night not only can you spot a variety of wildlife but with the lack of street lights you can gaze at the stars...so remember to bring your binoculars.

	Meals may be taken in the bar or small bistro type dining room. The menu is informal and requests can usually be honoured with enough notice. All our meat is locally sourced usually from Cornwall though some comes from Devon. The Bar is currently closed all day on a Monday and some Tuesdays. Meals are not available Sunday Evenings, Mondays and some Tuesday Nights. We only have a limited number of tables therefore please telephone us in order to book a table for a meal including in the bar. Please note that staying in the hotel does not gaurantee you a table for dinner and all meals are subject to availability. Bar
