Alongside, the River Moriston tumbles under the remains of the picturesque Sian Drochit stone bridge, built by Thomas Telford, and down the falls into Loch Ness, just half a mile away.
There are walks and cycle paths and the Great Glen Way that lead you through craggy forested hills and winding pastureland, granting you magnificent views and opportunities to observe a rich variety of wildlife. Just a short walk, across the bridge from the park, is a licensed restaurant, a hotel, (with restaurant and bar) and a convenient village shop.
