June Flowers

As June is dominated by spring it's a good time to buy June flowers. Traditionally June's flower is the rose. Here are examples of spring flowers. If you choose seasonal flowers as a floral bouquet it could help your pocket as well as your love life.

Most plants that flower bloom around spring, in a long succession beginning even when snow is still on the ground, and continuing into early summer. Spring flowers include:

  • Amaryllis, Azalea, Broom, Bluebell, Camellia, Carnation, Cherry blossom, Clematis, Crocus, Chrysanthemum,
  • Daffodil, Daisy, Forsythia, Freesia, Gladioli, Heather, Honeysuckle, Iris, Jasmine, Lilac, Lily,
  • Mimosa, Orchid, Polyanthus, Primrose, Rhododendron, Stephanotis, Tulip and Waxflower.
  • Hyacinths, lily of the valley, violets, pansies, lilies, gerbera daisies, pwillow, and flowering branches such as apple and cherry blossoms.

Potted plants in season include: tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, azaleas, Easter lilies, daisies, violets, and kalanchoe
