Northlink Ferries operates weekly crossings between Lerwick – Aberdeen and Lerwick – Kirkwall.

	The A970 connects the town to most of the Shetland Islands.
	Andrews, Jamieson Johnson and Sons, Leask (John) & Son, Nicolson Bros, Robinson and Morrison, Sinclair and Whites Coaches offer bus services for travel within Lerwick and to nearby towns.
