| Description | This course, taught by Andy Bunting from 'in focus', is aimed at people who have started to watch birds and would like to develop their skills in identification. You will be "in the field" identifying birds, with some time given to looking at the tools of the trade i.e. using guides and advice on choosing binoculars and telescopes.
The cost of the course is £20 for one full day and you must book in advance to avoid disappointment.
The event starts at 8.30am until 4pm and will include breaks throughout the day.
What you will need: Binoculars, note book and warm clothing. It would also be useful if you have a current field guide and a telescope (not essential). |
