| Type | Exhibition - Galleries/Museums |
| Start Date | Thursday 1st January 2009 |
| End Date | Wednesday 30th December 2009 |
| Description | Become a nature explorer! Discover how to find and identify wildlife living in and around our city.
There are hands-on activities and challenges and lots of things to see, hear and do. We also have some live animals, including Britain's smallest rodent, the harvest mouse, the Horniman beetle, named after the Museum's founder Frederick Horniman and our honey bee hive, home to thousands of bees.
Be Gentle in the Nature Base. In the Nature Base gallery we welcome visitors to handle our real Museum objects. Help us to ensure that they last a long time by being gentle and respectful. Please also remember this when you are exploring wildlife outside.
