During these economically challenging times, Maidstone's premier late night venues Liquid, Envy & JJs is offering customers more for their money.
From Saturday 21st February, customers will be permitted Access to All Areas - a new concept being introduced across all three venues that will give customers more variety for just one entry fee. From this date, special wrist bands will be allocated to customers that will allow them to freely flow between each room - plus, management have introduced free entry for all customers before 10pm.
The changes to the venue will also create 20 new jobs adding to the existing team of 70.
The three venues each offer a differing music and entertainment style, featuring party anthems and themed activity in JJs, the cool sophistication of club classics in Envy which is dedicated to the over 23s (only) and the latest dancefloor fillers in Liquid.
General manager, Julian Holyoake said: "Access All Areas allows the customer to go where the mood takes them. For instance, they could start the early evening in JJs getting into the party frame of mind then moving up to Liquid to hit the dancefloor to enjoy the latest top tunes. Finally, over 23s can relax within the opulent surroundings of Envy.
The Access All Areas also sees the introduction of controlled discounts on selected drinks. Julian adds: "To encourage people back into town we are offering discounts on selected drinks on specific sessions at particular times of the night. The decision to do so reflects the current downturn in the economic climate together with fierce competition from supermarkets.
"We are introducing this offer in a sensible, responsible and professional manner that includes such measures as an increased presence in doorstaff, limits to the number of drinks purchased with each bar visit and refresher training for all staff."
Drinks in all three venues are £1.00 before 10pm and £2.00 before midnight and the admission charge has been reduced to £3.00 from 10pm - 11pm.
Following a £3 million pound refurbishment in 2007, Liquid remains at the forefront of nightclub technology with its unique 360 degree projection screen and array of the hi-tech intelligent lighting effects that makes it truly a superclub! Music remains the priority in Liquid featuring the latest tunes of all current musical genres from House to Bassline, RnB to Urban. The venue also has a number of luxurious VIP pods and booths for exclusive hire with waitress service for that extra special occasion.
JJs has become known as the party central of Maidstone with its uniquely themed design. It has successfully operated for over 10 years putting on numerous large events with such stars gracing the stage as Jason Donovan , The One and Only Chesney Hawkes, Danni Minogue and coming up on Feb 15th X-Factor finalists JLS. Featuring Fancy Dress themes every weekend, the JJs crew and entertainment team are an integral part of the excitement generated and have drawn customers from far and wide to enjoy their party! Customers also join in with the crew and every weekend sees a never ending variety of unusual costumes, making the venue the ideal place for that stag or hen party!
Envy is the third venue and remains exclusively for the over 23s customer. Featuring club classics within sophisticated and more intimate surroundings, Envy also features private booths available for hire. This popular venue is the regular meeting place for all the movers and shakers in the area who dance and socialise till the early hours every weekend.
