Master Drawings in London
Master Drawings London is an annual event which defines itself as a cordial get together of the fine art practitioners and proponents from all over the world who join together to engage with a huge variety of drawings of different periods and many schools. Over 20 leading dealers showcase drawings of an international standing from the 15th century to the contemporary.
The event was founded by Crispian Riley-Smith in 2001. Prominent dealers like Andrew Clayton-Payne, Trinity Fine Art, Crispian Riley-Smith (the founder of the exhibition), Agnew's, Emanuel von Baeyer exhibit their collections which could range from the works of Victorian artist Richard Dadd to the lyrical drawings of Neapolitan artist Vicenzo Gemito. A popular feature at the exhibition is a series of lectures presented by experts on topics revolving around various forms of fine art.
