Clothes Show Live

The fashion and beauty event began life as the Clothes Show London and was held in the ExCel London for the first time in 1989. Each subsequent year has seen the event return to the same venue, usually in the month of May or June. The show was an instant hit attracting 40,000 fashionistas and enthusiasts. The organisers, astonished by the response, were encouraged to initiate another version of the same theme in 1990 at the NEC Birmingham and named it Clothes Show Live. The annual Clothes Show Live event was an even bigger success and started attracting over 130,000 visitors each year over the six day event which is held in December.

The fashion show has a vibrant party atmosphere that officially kicks off the Christmas season. It offers an overview of the piquant fashion and beauty trends, ideal to soak oneself in, in readiness for the festivities ahead. The event has on display a myriad of stylish boutiques, high-street brands, designer collections, and dazzling hair and beauty products, which are showcased in an equally uber-cool ambience. There are also avenues for testing out your skills as model agencies are often out there scouting for talent. For those who are looking for more from the high-quality fashion extravaganza, there are live music performances with stars such as MC Hammer and Madonna already having featured at past shows.

To make the whole experience totally rewarding, the show has a wide range of food and drinks available at various cafes and bars.
