The Chelsea Antiques Fair
Chelsea Antiques Fair offers a smart stylish setting for selling the wares of only 35 exhibitors, many of whom are members of BADA (British Antique Dealers Association) and LAPADA. This creates plenty of time and space to view the exhibition in detail. The Chelsea Antiques Fair exhibits traditional quality antiques and art, with a few items of 20th.and 21st.century art and artefacts. The displays include the finest period furniture, paintings, decorative prints, ceramics, clocks, barometers, mirrors, folk art, glass, bronzes, silver and jewellery. Other exhibits in the past years have included early English pottery, French and Oriental bronzes, antiquarian maps and domestic brass and copperware.
Chelsea Antiques Fair has been in existence since 1950 and is a traditional and elegant event, whilst retaining its friendly and intimate atmosphere. It takes place at the Chelsea Old Town Hall, Kings Road, London SW3 5EE, in the middle of September, and is one of the most famous British Antiques events in Autumn. The Town Hall transforms into an elegant display of the very best of British antiques and fine art, which range in price from £100 to £25,000. You have the additional reassurance that each exhibit has been thoroughly vetted, and most of them are pre-1875.
Light meals and refreshments are available at the event.
