M57 motorway passes in the North East and is connected to Liverpool by A580 which merges with A59 coming from north and connecting to Aintree. A567 and A565 connect the city to Waterloo. Seacombe in the west connects the city by A5139. One can use the M62 and A5058 to reach the city from the east. To the south is A561.
