Transport

	North-south M1 links the town to Luton and Northampton in the north. M25, which encircles London, passes from the south of Hemel Hempstead. A41 links the town to London, whilst connecting it to Aylesbury towards the west.
	Arriva The Shires & Essex is the main bus operator around the town. Some other local bus and coach operators are Centrebus St Albans, Red Rose Travel, National Express, Dacorum C.V.S, Petty of Berkhamsted, Red Kite of Leighton Buzzard and University Bus/UNO of Hatfield.
