UK Holiday Cottages FAQsTravelling with Children - Cots and High ChairsSome holiday cottage owners and self catering accommodation booking agencies have a minimum age limit and may not allow babies or young children. Any such restrictions are mentioned in the property description. If you are not sure, please check with the holiday cottage owner or self catering accommodation booking agency before booking. Properties that have a cot or a high chair, as standard, will normally mention it in the description. The cot, which may be a travel cot, and the high chair may available free of charge or there may be a small hire charge depending on the holiday cottage owner or self catering accommodation booking agency. In either case they must be requested in advance and you should ask for a cot/high chair when you book the cottage. For health reasons babies should not use bedding that has been used by another baby. You should always bring your own mattress and bedding as well as rubber under sheets for young children using the beds. Cots may only be suitable for babies/children up to a certain age so please check if there is a restriction. ![]() |
