When booking holiday cottages and self catering accommodation you should consider any allergies that you may suffer from. If any member of the holiday party suffers from an allergy to pets or other items likely to be found in new environments, please advise at time of booking.
Hay fever is a common problem and if you suffer from it during the summer, choose your area carefully. Open countryside with lots of meadows may not be much fun for hay fever sufferers.
If you are allergic to pets, inform the holiday cottage owners or self catering accommodation booking agencies at the time of booking. Even at properties that specify "no pets" you must not assume that pets (of the owner's, neighbour's etc) have not stayed in the property. Sometimes a registered guide and/or hearing dog may have stayed in your holiday cottages or self catering accommodation.
Also note that holiday cottages and self catering accommodation may be on or near a farm with animals so check with the owners if any member of your party suffers from exposure to animals.
