A luxury detached house with a private drive surrounded by lovingly maintained gardens with views over fields front and back. Situated off a private lane which leads, in one direction, to a small picturesque yacht marina and Chichester harbour (4 mins walk) and, in the other direction, to the village green and its church. A short walk away (6 mins) is a popular contemporary bar and eatery, using locally sourced ingredients, with a beautiful outlook over Chichester Harbor and it has a log burning stove too.
Within easy reach are the beaches of Witterings, the characterful cathedral city of Chichester, many paths and walkways surrounding the Chichester Harbour estuary (including the Salterns Way) and a variety of great country pubs and restaurants too (we can recommend where to go and we have a good local taxi service). A little further away are the rolling hills of the South Downs and its country pubs and walks.
The house is furnished and decorated to a high standard. The kitchen has an AGA (complete with AGA cook book to create the perfect roast or stew or whatever you want), a waste disposal unit and has two separate fridges for all your provisions. There is also an electric hob and oven just in case.
Adjoining the kitchen you enter the family/sitting room with plenty of comfy sofas, a wood burning stove (which makes this room very warm and cosy to beat the winter chill), and views over the rear garden with access to the patio and breakfast table area. The dining room has a large dining table and sits 10 comfortably. These rooms combined are great for entertaining. The second sitting room is perfect for relaxing and has an open fire should you want it.
All the bedrooms are light and airy with views over open countryside. White Company bed linen and the 3 bathrooms are clean and spacious.
Finally, we are a short drive away from Goodwood Race Course and motor circuit, local golf courses, Portsmouth and Arundel.
