The Bothy used to be the accommodation for a farmworker in the days when they still farmed the fields around us with horses. Derelict when we arrived here in 2001 but now it is once again a lovely cosy cottage with woodburner. For full details,photos and virtual tours of all our properties please visit our website. The Bothy has an open plan kitchen /living area and one twin bedroom with walk in shower. The cottage is ideal as a base to explore this beautiful part of Scotland. We are on the Whisky and Castle Trail, a short drive from the coast with pretty villages, sandy beaches and rocky coves. Head the other way and within 1 hours drive you are in the Grampian hills or the Cairngorms. Of course it goes without saying that we are in a prime spot to fish local rivers and trout lakes. The Bothy is suitable for one small to medium well behaved dog. For single occupancy and short break prices please phone or email us. Please note: We accept one well behaved pet by arrangement @ £30,.per week.We can also provide wifi suitable for email, browsing and social media(no downloads or Netflix)@£15,.per week. This can be paid on arrival.
