Situated in 2.5 acres of woodland and just a stone throw from the river Deveron. Deveron Lodge has 2 bedrooms. A twin bedroom downstairs and a lovely cosy double bedroom upstairs and you can walk across the landing area to the upstairs balcony. There is an open plan kitchen /living room with vaulted ceiling. A woodburner keeps the Lodge lovely and warm. There is electric heating as back up. Plenty of space outside for walks and a decked area to sit and take in the views. Deveron Lodge is ideal as base to explore historic Banffshire(now forming part of Aberdeenshire). The climate here is renowned for being the sunniest and driest in the country and it has a wide range of excellent places to eat and shop. The local area is famed for it's breathtaking scenery, long sandy beaches and wildlife and offers wonderful leisure and recreational opportunities . There are many golf courses accessible within a short drive, whilst the county also offers superb Salmon and Trout fishing. A popular tourist area, local attractions also include 'The whisky and Castle Trail' as well as Macduff Marine Aquarium and Museum of Scottish Lighthouses in Fraserburgh. Royal Deeside and the scenic Spey Valley are about 1 hours drive away respectively. For less then full occupancy and short break prices please phone or email us. Please note: We accept up to two well behaved pets by arrangement @ £30,.per dog per week.We can also provide wifi suitable for email, browsing and social media (no downloads or Netflix, sorry)@£15,.per week. This can be paid on arrival.
