Woodland Retreat is a log cabin imported from Finland. For full details,photos and virtual tours of all our properties please visit our website. This magnificent Logcabin is set in 2.5 acres of woodland with direct access to footpath along the river Deveron. It has a large open plan living and kitchen area with vaulted ceiling. The woodburner is in the centre of the living room. The Lodge has a fully fitted kitchen complete with dishwasher and washing machine. There is a walk- in shower room. The 3 cosy bedrooms are comfortably furnished. Outside is a large dog and children proof decked area with steps leading to a large lawned area and the log shed. There is plenty of choice for walks nearby. The setting in the Deveron Valley is an ideal base for exploring this lovely part of Scotland. We are on the Castle and Whisky Trail, within 20 minutes drive from the coast with lots of fishing villages and lovely beaches/ rugged cliffs. Huntly , Turriff and Banff offer plenty of opportunity for shopping and eating out. We are just 8 miles from the A96 which links Aberdeen to Inverness. Heading south from Huntly(8miles) takes you into the Grampians and then the Cairngorms (Aviemore ) Skiing at the Lecht ski centre is about an hour drive.
